Daniel Berehulak urodzony w 1975 roku - wielokrotnie nagradzany niezależny fotoreporter pochodzący z Sydney w Australii. Studiował historię na Uniwersytecie Nowej Południowej Walii. Fotograf dwukrotnie wyróżniony nagrodą Pulitzera oraz sześciokrotnie nagrodą World Press Photo.

Urodzony w rodzinie imigrantów z Ukrainy, dorastał na farmie w Australii, pracował w gospodarstwie i w firmie chłodniczej swojego ojca. W 2000 roku, pracował jako fotograf dla australijskiej agencji sportowej. W 2002 roku dołączył do Getty Images w Sydney jako fotograf sportowy. W 2005 roku przeniósł się do Londynu gdzie zaczął pracować jako fotoreporter prasowy.

Odwiedził ponad 60 krajów, tworzy społeczne długoterminowe projekty fotograficzne, obserwował wydarzenia kształtujące historię, w tym wojnę w Iraku, proces Saddama Husajna, pracę dzieci w Indiach, wybory w Afganistanie i powrót Benazir Bhutto do Pakistanu oraz udokumentował życie ludzi, którzy walczą z następstwami po tsunami w Japonii i katastrofą w Czarnobylu.

Jego prace zostały wyróżnione dwoma nagrodami Pulitzera. W 2015 r. zdjęcia Feature Photography - relacja z epidemii eboli w Afryce Zachodniej oraz w 2017 r. za Breaking News Photography za relację z tak zwanej wojny z narkotykami na Filipinach, zdjęcia wykonane dla The New York Times. W 2011 roku był także finalistą Pulitzera za relację z powodzi w Pakistanie w 2010 roku. Są to niektóre z wielu wyróżnień, które zdobył. Otrzymał sześć nagród World Press Photo, dwie nagrody Photographer of the Year by Pictures of the Year International oraz prestiżowe nagrody John Faber, Olivier Rebbot i Feature Photography przyznawane przez Overseas Press Club.

Zdjęcia Daniela Berehulaka pojawiły się w publikacjach takich jak The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, The Independent, The Times, Stern, Time, Newsweek i wielu innych.
