Stanko Abadzic - fotografia

Stanko Abadžic urodził się w 1952 roku w miejscowości Vukovar. O tym, że zostanie fotografem, wiedział już jak miał 15 lat. Najpierw tajniki techniki zgłębiał w młodzieżowym domu kultury, później na studia wyjechał do Niemiec. Prawie od początku najbardziej interesowała go fotografia prasowa – przez wiele lat swojego zawodowego życia był etatowym fotografem w gazetach m.in. w poczytnej „Vjesnik”.

Media bombardują nas zdjęciami pełnymi krwi i łez. Nadszedł najwyższy czas, żebyśmy okazali zainteresowanie pięknem i estetyką, nie tylko wojną i katastrofami. Wciąż wierzę, że fotografia może dotykać ludzi emocjonalnie. Wierzę, że fotografia może być świadectwem i dokumentem czasu, i może nas zainspirować do rozmowy między sobą oraz czynienia świata lepszym – mówi chorwacki fotografik Stanko Abadžić.
